Oddvar Ruud is a Norwegian guitarist, composer, and lyricist born on April 2, 1953. He released an album with the band Franklin in 1989, titled Bombadilla Days, which sold over 30,000 copies, featuring one of Norway's biggest hits, Bombadilla Life. His music has been featured at significant events in Norway, and he has provided motivational courses alongside former football player Arne Møller. In 2009, he released Rainbows over River Hill with his band Rivermen. Ruud also served as the manager of Rauma kulturhus until August 2013.
