Oetje Frank Tekol, commonly known as Oetje F. Tekol, is an Indonesian musician born on March 22, 1949. He gained fame as a member of the legendary Bandung band The Rollies, known for their Jazz Rock sound, often incorporating elements of pop and funk. Oetje began his music career as a melodic guitar player for the band Risnada from 1963 to 1967, later playing drums for Players (1967-1968) and Diablo (1968-1972). In 1973, he transitioned to bass guitar, replacing Deddy Stanzah, and contributed significantly to The Rollies’ musical style.
