Ofeliano de Almeida is a self-taught illustrator and comic book artist born Eduardo Ebenezer Ofeliano de Almeida on November 11, 1954, in São Paulo. He is known for his work on the comic series Leão Negro, co-created with Cynthia Carvalho, which was published in Portugal. Almeida has worked on storyboards for films such as Cidade de Deus and telenovelas including Coração de Estudante. He contributed to a comic where the cartoonist Péricles meets his character, resulting in the short film A Última do Amigo da Onça, which won an award for best script.
