Ōgami Kenkichi is an Aiki jujutsu teacher born on March 7, 1936, in Kyushu, Japan. He holds an 8th dan certificate from the Kansai Aikido Club where he currently serves as an administrator. In 1961, he began studying Daito-ryu aikijujutsu under Takuma Hisa, earning various dan rankings. A founding member of Takumakai, he authored 'In Pursuit of Dreams: My Aikijujitsu.' Additionally, he studied karate, achieving a 5th dan rank in 1998. He established the Daibukan Dojo in Osaka/Kobe in 1968, which remains operational today.
