Olai Hillersøy (1915–2006) was a Norwegian fisherman and resistance fighter during World War II. Originally from Bulandet, he fled to Shetland and joined the renowned Shetland Bus, transporting weapons and agents to Norway. He made eleven journeys with small boats, five of which as captain, before becoming second-in-command on the anti-submarine vessel 'Hessa'. Hillersøy served on 'Hessa' until the war's end, participating in operations as far north as the Helgeland coast.
