Olav Dahl is a Norwegian physician and cancer researcher born in 1948. He hails from Grinde in Tysvær. After earning his medical degree in 1972, he became a certified specialist in oncology and obtained his doctor of medicine in 1983. He spent a year and a half at Radiumhospitalet before joining Haukeland University Hospital to establish a new cancer department. He later became an associate professor at the University of Bergen in therapeutic oncology and is best known for his research on testicular cancer, along with work on other cancer types.
