Oldřich Říha, born on May 18, 1948, in Prague, is a Czech musician and the frontman of the rock band Katapult. He began his musical career in 1963, performing with several bands before joining Shut Up in 1972. Afterward, he returned to Mahagon, which later became Katapult. Říha significantly contributed to the band's success, achieving two Zlatý slavík awards and selling over 1 million records. Despite facing bans on music production and performances, he continued to create music. He was later inducted into the Beat Hall of Fame in 2007 and received further accolades.
