Ole Gjølberg is a Norwegian civil economist and academic, born on December 30, 1949, in Fredrikstad. He graduated with a civil economist degree from Norges Handelshøyskole in 1972 and obtained his doctorate in 1981 from the same institution. Gjølberg is a professor in corporate economics at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and also holds a part-time professorship at the Department of Corporate Economy at NHH. He has published numerous works on finance and energy market analysis and has played a key role in ethical management studies of the Government Pension Fund Global.
