He lived and worked in Saint Petersburg, focusing on the ontology of form and the metaphysical foundations of Russian prose poetics. He held a candidate of philosophical sciences degree and was an associate professor at the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training in Philology and Linguistic Geography at Saint Petersburg State University. He was one of the founders of the Higher Religious-Philosophical School in 1990.
