Olha Zúbareva is a former Ukrainian handball player born on January 27, 1958, in Kyiv. She competed for the Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s and won an Olympic gold medal in handball at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. In addition to her Olympic success, she earned three medals at the Handball World Championships, including two golds in 1982 and 1986, and a silver in 1978. Zúbareva played primarily for Spartak Kyiv, winning nine Soviet league titles and several European cups during her career.
