Olimi III, born Rukirabasaija Patrick David Matthew Kaboyo on September 9, 1945, was the 11th Omukama (king) of the Tooro Kingdom in Uganda. He reigned from 1965 until his death on August 26, 1995. His leadership was marked by efforts to maintain the cultural identity of the Tooro people during a period of political turbulence in Uganda. His reign spanned three decades, witnessing significant changes within the kingdom and the country as a whole. Olimi III is remembered for his commitment to the welfare of his subjects and the preservation of Tooro traditions.
