Oliver Mlakar is a Croatian television presenter born on July 1, 1935, in Ptuj. He began his career at Radio Zagreb while studying French and Italian at the University of Zagreb. Mlakar became known for hosting the first Yugoslav quiz show Poziv na Kviz in 1965. He also hosted popular shows like Kviskoteka and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, co-hosting it in Zagreb in 1990. From 1993 to 2002, he presented Kolo sreće, a game show. His contributions have made significant impacts on Croatian television.
