Omer Khalifa, born on December 18, 1956, is a Sudanese middle-distance runner specializing in the 1500 meters and 800 meters. He competed in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, reaching the semifinals in the 800 meters and finishing 8th in the 1500 meters. At the 1988 Seoul Olympics, he placed 12th in the 1500 meters. Khalifa also achieved fifth place in the 1500 meters at the 1987 World Championships and secured two silver medals and one bronze at the African Championships. His personal bests are 1:44.75 for 800 meters and 3:33.28 for 1500 meters.
