Ondrej Rigo was a notorious Slovak serial killer and necrophile, active between 1990 and 1992, primarily targeting women in cities such as Bratislava, Munich, and Amsterdam. He was convicted of nine murders and one attempted murder, for which he served a life sentence until his death in prison. Rigo suffered from mental health disorders, including schizoid and antisocial personality disorders, as well as necrophilia, and infamously derived pleasure from engaging with deceased bodies. He is recognized as the most prolific serial killer in modern Slovak history.
