Orhan Murad Osmanoğlu, born on December 16, 1972, in Henley on Thames, England, is a member of the Ottoman imperial family and a descendant of the Ottoman sultans who ruled from 1299 until the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in 1923. He is the great-grandson of Sultan Murad V and Sultan Mehmed V. The eldest son of Prince Osman Salahuddin and an unknown mother, he was educated at Victoria College in Alexandria, and studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in London, becoming a chartered accountant.
