Osamu Ōtake is a Japanese journalist, author, and chef born on May 22, 1949. He is known for his work in various media as a reporter and editor-in-chief of a motorcycle magazine. He has also written comic scripts and novels centered around motorbikes. Additionally, he was the owner-chef of Gotham Cafe, an Italian restaurant in Setagaya, Tokyo. Ōtake has contributed to journalism education by serving as an instructor in reporting practice at Japan's Journalist School until its closure in March 2010.
