Oskar Hans Wolfgang Coester was a Brazilian entrepreneur and inventor born on September 26, 1938, in Pelotas, Brazil. He played a pivotal role in aircraft maintenance at VARIG during its golden era under Rubem Berta. He founded the Coester Group, which includes Coester Automatização S.A., a manufacturer of industrial automation equipment, and Aeromóvel Brasil S.A., the company responsible for the development and implementation of the pneumatic transportation technology he invented, known as aeromóvel. He passed away on November 17, 2020, in Porto Alegre.
