Óskar Jakobsson is a former Icelandic athlete born on January 29, 1955, who specialized in javelin throw, shot put, and discus throw. He participated in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal but did not advance past the qualification round in the javelin. In 1978, he finished 11th in the discus at the European Championships in Prague. At the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, he placed 11th in shot put and failed to register a valid attempt in discus. He also secured a 7th place in shot put at the 1981 European Indoor Championships.
