Ossie Abeygunasekera (died 1994) was a Sri Lankan politician and leader of the Sri Lanka Mahajana Pakshaya. He was assassinated by an LTTE suicide bomber at an election rally in 1994. An alumnus of Ananda and St. Benedict's Colleges, he was involved in significant political activities, including negotiations with the LTTE and leading his party after Vijaya Kumaratunga's death. He contested the presidential election in 1989 and was a member of Parliament elected in 1994. His father was also a politician who perished in an air disaster.
