Prof. Ir. Raden Otong Kosasih was a prominent electrical engineering professor at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Born on May 15, 1905, in Cibodas, West Java, he served as the first official rector of ITB from November 1, 1959, to April 20, 1964. If considering the previous presidium of ITB, he could be seen as the second rector of ITB or the eighteenth rector of the Ganesha campus since the establishment of the Bandung Technical Institute.
