Otoya Katsura was a Japanese storytelling performer and a freelance announcer born on October 4, 1935, in Minoh, Osaka Prefecture. His birth name was Kiyoyuki Imai, and he adopted the stage name Otoya Imai from 1967 until his death. He was known for his contributions to the traditional art of Kamigata Rakugo, a form of Japanese verbal entertainment. Katsura died on March 28, 1978.
