Otto Schwab was a German resistance fighter against fascism and later an officer in the East German People's Police and NVA. Born on December 15, 1903, in Pechöfen, Austria-Hungary, he actively worked within the National Committee for a Free Germany (NKFD) during the war, particularly in prisoner-of-war camps with officers and generals of the German Wehrmacht. He passed away on December 28, 1972, in East Berlin.
