Ovidiu Creangă was a Romanian activist and author, born on February 14, 1921, in Vărzăreşti, Moldova. He served in the Ministry of Economy and taught at the Politehnica University of Bucharest. After fleeing to evade Soviet occupation, he emigrated to Canada in 1982. Creangă was known for his contributions to literature and activism. He passed away on December 4, 2017, at the age of 96, leaving behind a legacy of work including his notable book 'Cu şi fără securişti'.
