He was active with the rock band Roșu și Negru from 1966 to 1975 and subsequently joined Transsylvania Phoenix. After living in Germany from 1977 until 1990, he returned to Romania, working on solo projects and collaborating with bands like Pasărea Rock and Bosquito. His 2007 album, 'Iskender', showcases reinterpretations of traditional Macedonian songs, blending various cultural influences. He has a son who is also a musician and resides in Germany.
