Oziel Rodrigues Carneiro is a Brazilian doctor, businessman, and politician born on February 18, 1932. He was associated with Senator Jarbas Passarinho and joined the PDS party, running for the governor of Pará in 1982 but was defeated by Jader Barbalho of PMDB. In the 1986 elections, he was elected as the first alternate senator under Jarbas Passarinho and served while the latter was Minister of Justice during Fernando Collor's government. Currently, he presides over companies in Tocantins.
