Ōzutsu Takeshi, born Takatoshi Matsumoto on April 18, 1956, is a former sumo wrestler from Mie, Japan. He began his professional career in May 1971 and achieved a high ranking in the top makuuchi division from March 1979 to January 1992, accumulating a notable record of 1170 consecutive bouts. His highest rank was sekiwake. Throughout his career, he was a runner-up in one tournament and earned ten gold stars for victories over yokozuna. After retiring in 1992, he continued to contribute to the sport as a coach until 2008.
