P. Jainulabideen, also known as PJ, is a prominent Islamic scholar and preacher who primarily teaches in Tamil. He co-founded the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazagham in 1995 and later started the Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath after leaving TMMK. Jainulabideen advocates for the Quran and Sunnah as the sole sources of religious authority, opposing innovations in Islam. He has been an outspoken critic of terrorism and dowry practices within the Islamic community in Tamil Nadu, South India. In May 2018, he was expelled from the TNTJ.
