Pandillapalli Srinivas was an Indian Forest Service officer recognized for his dedication to forest conservation and community development in Karnataka. As a Kirti Chakra recipient, he was instrumental in providing infrastructure, medical services, and housing for the poor. Srinivas also contributed significantly to environmental awareness and the rehabilitation of rebels. He was murdered in November 1991, and posthumously honored for his bravery. Today, he is celebrated as a committed civil servant and is revered in several villages.
