Pulloli Thomas Chacko was an influential Indian politician from Chamampathal, Kottayam in Kerala. He served in the Travancore and Travancore-Cochin Assemblies as well as the Constituent Assembly. Chacko was the first Leader of Opposition in Kerala under the Namboodiripad ministry. His significant roles included serving as Home Minister and overseeing the portfolios of Revenue and Law from 1960 until 1964. His resignation from the Congress-led cabinet in 1964 was pivotal, leading to the establishment of the regional party Kerala Congress.
