Parvathaneni Upendra (14 July 1936 – 16 November 2009) was a notable Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh, associated with the Telugu Desam Party. He served as a Union Cabinet Minister in the V. P. Singh Cabinet from 1989 to 1990. Upendra was a member of the Rajya Sabha, representing Andhra Pradesh for two terms from 1984 to 1996. Additionally, he was elected twice to the Lok Sabha from Vijayawada in the 1996 and 1998 elections. His political contributions significantly impacted the region during his tenure.
