P. V. R. K. Prasad was an Indian civil servant and an IAS officer of the 1966 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He served as Media Advisor to Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao from 1991 to 1996. Prasad held significant positions including Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and Director General of a human resource development institute. Renowned for his reforms in the temple management, he continued advising the temple post-retirement. He also authored several books based on his experiences with Narasimha Rao and in temple administration.
