Paavo Raussi (1901-1987) was a Finnish organist and professor of organ playing. He studied at the Helsinki Conservatory, church music institute, and the Leipzig Conservatory, earning diplomas in organ playing and as a cantor-organist. He taught organ playing at the Helsinki Conservatory and the Church Music Institute, later lecturing and then becoming a professor at the Sibelius Academy. Raussi also served as the organist for the Helsinki St. Paul congregation for several decades. He received the title of director musices in 1944.
