Pallop Pinmanee is a retired Thai Army officer who attained the rank of four-star general. Born on May 25, 1936, in Bangkok, he served as the Deputy Director of the Internal Security Operations Command from 2002 to 2006. Following the 2006 coup, he became an advisor to ISOC and later to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra in 2011. He gained international notoriety for his involvement in military coups and controversial incidents, including the killing of 32 insurgents at the Krue Se Mosque in Pattani and a thwarted assassination attempt on Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
