Panagiotis Skandalakis is a Greek professor of medicine and politician. He was born in Laconia and studied medicine at the University of Athens. He serves as a Professor of Descriptive Anatomy at the University of Athens and Professor of Surgical Anatomy and Technique at Emory University in Atlanta, USA. He was first elected as a Member of Parliament with New Democracy in 1989, re-elected in 1990, and served as a representative for Laconia from 1996 to 2009. He held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2006.
