Pär Holmgren is a Swedish meteorologist, writer, presenter, and politician born on October 24, 1964, in Gävle. He gained fame as a television meteorologist for the Swedish state television SVT. Since the late 1990s, he has been active in politics, particularly on climate change issues. He won a seat for the Miljöpartiet in the 2019 European elections and has been a member of the ninth European Parliament ever since.
