Park Ji-hyun is a South Korean political activist and former co-chair of the Democratic Party of Korea (DPK), the main opposition party. Born on March 29, 1996, in Wonju, she gained prominence for her role in exposing one of South Korea's largest online sexual crime networks, known as The Nth Room, in 2019. She was appointed interim co-chair of the Democratic Party in March 2022 at the age of 26 and resigned in June. Park has been recognized on TIME100 Next, BBC 100 Women, and Bloomberg 50 for her efforts against digital sexual crimes and gender equality.
