Parminder Singh Saini was a Kenyan field hockey player born on September 19, 1957, in Kisumu. He played for his school team at Kisumu Boys High School until 1976, then moved to England to study, competing with the Slough Hockey Club until 1979. He returned to Kenya to lead the Kisumu Simba Union and made his debut for the national team in 1981, participating in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. After retiring, he became a coach for Kisumu Simba Union and the Kenyan national team, also serving as vice-chairman of Kisumu Simba Union from 2014 to 2015.
