Parosil Mabsus, born on March 12, 1974, is the regent of West Lampung, elected in the 2017 simultaneous regional elections for the term 2017-2022, representing the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). He is the younger brother of Mukhlis Basri, the regent from 2007 to 2017. Prior to his role as regent, he was a member of the West Lampung Regional People's Representative Council from 2004 to 2017, and he also served as the chairman of the PDIP branch in West Lampung.
