He was of Gypsy ethnicity and moved to Catalonia at the age of 20, settling in Rubí. Over his career, he recorded around a dozen albums, creating music in styles such as ballads, rumba, and tango. Parrita wrote songs for notable artists like Moncho and Niña Pastori and collaborated with famous singers including Rosalía and Paco de Lucía. He was recognized for discovering new talents, such as Antonio Orozco. He passed away at age 61.
