Edmond Patrick Charles Cotter (1904–1996) was a distinguished Irish croquet player, noted for his achievements during the 1950s and 1960s. He won the President's Cup six times, the Open Championship three times, and the Men's Championship four times. In addition to his croquet success, Cotter was a scholar at Christ Church, Oxford and a schoolmaster teaching Latin and Greek. He was also an accomplished bridge player and crossword compiler, while achieving success in golf.
