Starting his career in London, he initially played guitar in local bands before partnering with Theresa Confrey, his future wife. They showcased popular dances on television and later performed on cruise ships. Kerr also co-presented the show and established a successful dance studio, Bodywork Company, in Cambridge. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 68.
