Paul Haag was a Swiss jazz musician known for playing the trombone and the alphorn. Beginning his music career in the late 1950s, he was an integral part of the Basel jazz scene. He played with various groups, including the Savannah Junk Men and the Mani Planzer Big Band, and was a member of the renowned band MAGOG from 1972 to 1978. In addition to his work in bands, Haag founded the group Twobones and toured Central Asia and Mongolia. His contributions to music also included performances with alpine and folk music ensembles.
