Paul T. Johnson, born on April 26, 1958, in Gadsden, Alabama, is a Major General in the United States Air Force. He served as the commander of the 355th Fighter Wing and the 451st Air Expeditionary Group. Johnson participated in notable military operations such as Operation Desert Storm, Operation Northern Watch, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in May 1985 and received the Air Medal for rescuing a downed naval pilot, Lieutenant Devon Jones.
