Previously an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, Kazarian temporarily led Sunbeam-Oster. Known for aggressive bidding tactics, particularly against KKR for Borden, he is regarded as a 'vulture capitalist.' He became a significant bidder for Greek bonds during the 2013 debt crisis, acquiring a €2.9 billion portfolio. In 2017, he opened a Lisbon office to invest in Portuguese real estate and technology.
