Paul Kromjong was a Dutch painter and glass artist born on November 11, 1903, in Maastricht and died on July 24, 1978, in Noordwijkerhout. He worked initially at a mortgage bank while studying painting. Kromjong participated in art exhibitions and later taught monumental design at an art academy in The Hague until 1969. His early works reflected influences from his mentor Henri Jonas, while his post-war art included geometric-abstract compositions, collages, and metal sculptures. Kromjong also participated in protests against the Olympics in Berlin in 1936.
