Paul Edward Peek Jr. (1937-2001) was a pioneering rockabilly musician from North Carolina. He learned multiple instruments by age 12 and gained early fame as a member of Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps. He was the first artist to record for the National Recording Corporation and appeared in the movie 'The Girl Can't Help It'. Despite challenges in his recording career, he became a popular nightclub performer in Atlanta. He continued performing until health issues arose, resulting in his death from cirrhosis.
