Pax Nicholas, also known as Nicholas Addo-Nettey, is a Ghanaian singer and percussionist born on August 7, 1954, in Accra. He is one of the few musically active former members of Fela Kuti's legendary band Africa 70. Nicholas gained renewed fame in 2009 with the re-release of his 1973 solo album "Na Teef Know De Road Of Teef" by the prestigious New York funk and soul label Daptone Records. He currently performs with his band Ridimtaksi, blending classic and modern Afrobeat with American soul and Ghanaian highlife.
