Pedro Inácio de Araújo, also known as Pedro Fazendeiro, was a Brazilian shoemaker, farmer, and militant trade unionist. He was actively involved with the Communist Party of Brazil and was noted as the first forced disappearance case alongside his friend João Alfredo Dias after the 1964 Military Coup. Araújo served as vice president of the Liga Camponesa de Sapé and was part of the Federation of Peasant Leagues. He was declared legally dead in accordance with Law No. 9.140 on December 4, 1995, after being reported missing since September 7, 1964.
