Pedro Infante Torrentera (March 31, 1950 - April 1, 2009) was a Mexican singer and actor from Mexico City. He was the son of famous actor and singer Pedro Infante and dancer Lupita Torrentera. He had siblings Cruz Infante, an actor, and Lupita Infante, an actress. After studying architecture at La Salle University and briefly working as an architect, he pursued a career as a country musician. He passed away from pneumonia in Los Angeles, California, a day after his 59th birthday.
