Pedro Munhoz is a Brazilian singer, guitarist, and troubadour born on February 16, 1961, in Barra do Ribeiro. He won the 1st National Agrarian Reform Festival in 1999 with his song 'Procissão dos Retirantes'. In 2012, he created a jingle supporting MST's campaign for Hugo Chavez. Notably, his song 'Canção da Terra', covered by O Teatro Mágico, was the first freely distributed work by its author used in a telenovela soundtrack (Flor do Caribe, Rede Globo) in 2013.
